Title: Dance in Silence Author: Nicole Category: V, R [Harm/Mac] Rating: PG Spoilers: none Disclaimer: not mine, alas Summary: part five of ‘The Dance’ takes place after ‘Dance in the Dark’ Feedback: desired Author’s Thanks: Ashlee, ‘cuz this wouldn’t have been a series without ya! (See, I’m putting you in every thanks!) Mac stole a glance at Harm and their eyes met. Passion sizzled in their gaze, before they both turned away, for fear of being caught. Mac’s mind wandered back to the night before, to the love she and Harm had shared. It was only Harm’s elbow in her ribs that brought her back to reality, and the realization that Admiral Chegwidden was waiting for her to answer something. She glanced at Harm and saw him shake his head slightly. “No, Sir,” she answered, having no clue what she was disagreeing to. Chegwidden nodded back at her, and dismissed them. After they left the office, Mac asked, “What did I disagree to?” “Having questions about the Winters’ court marital.” Mac nodded back and headed to her office, aware that Harm was following her. They entered and Harm shut the door, immediately taking Mac into his arms. “I’ve missed you,” he breathed before kissing her. As the passionate kiss ended, Mac smiled. “Missed me after an hour and half?” Harm nodded and kissed her again. A knock of the door quickly separated the two and Mac called for the person to enter. Harriet poked her head in the door and told Mac that a corporal was waiting for her to interview him. Mac nodded and Harriet left, closing the door again. Mac kissed Harm one last time before leaving the office. ‘Back to looks and keeping secrets,’ Harm thought as he walked to his own office.
