This is really getting on my nerves.” Harm laughed. “Yeah, sure, Mac.” Mac grinned and get up, changing the radio to a light hits station. She walked back to the bed, swaying slightly to the beat of a song. Ten minutes later, Mac suddenly sat straight up on the bed. “I love this song!” she exclaimed, and promptly began singing along. Harm smiled and listened to her beautiful voice, and the voice of Celine Dion. There were nights when the wind was so cold That my body froze in bed If I just listened to it Right outside the window There were days when the sun was so cruel That all the tears turned to dust And I just knew my eyes were Drying up forever I finished crying in the instant that you left And I can’t remember where or when or how And I banished every memory you and I had ever made Harm raised an eyebrow at Mac’s choice of favorite song. ‘Not very happy, that’s for sure!’ But when you touch me like this And you hold me like that I just have to admit That it’s all coming back to me When I touch you like this And I hold you like that It’s so hard to believe but It’s all coming back to me (It’s all coming back, it’s all coming back to me now) ‘Oh, to be able to have PC again…’ There were moments of gold And there were flashes of light There were things I’d never do again But then they’d always seemed right There were nights of endless pleasure It was more than any laws allow Baby, baby Mac grinned mischievously to herself as she thought, ‘Definitely nights of endless pleasure more than laws allow!’ If I kiss you like this And if you whisper like that It was lost long ago But it’s all coming back to me If you want me like this And if you need me like that It was dead long ago But it’s all coming back to me It’s so hard to resist But it’s all coming back to me I can barely recall But it’s all coming back to me now But it’s all coming back There were those empty threats and hollow lies And whenever you tried to hurt me I just hurt you even worse And so much deeper ‘We hurt each other so bad…’ There hours that just went on for days When alone at last we’d count up all the chances That were lost to us forever But you were history with the slamming of the door And I made myself so strong again somehow And I never wasted any of my time on you since then ‘This song reminds me of Bandit. God, I haven’t thought of her in over a year! I wish I hadn’t kicked her out…’ But if I touch you like this And if you kiss me like that It was so long ago But it’s all coming back to me If you touch me like this And if I kiss you like that It was gone with the wind But it’s all coming back to me (It’s all coming back, it’s all coming back to me now) ‘I wish I could have back what I had with Bandit. But, I guess, if I did, I wouldn’t have fallen in love with Mac…’ There were moments of gold And there were flashes of light There were things we’d never do again But then they’d always seemed right There were nights of endless pleasure It was more than all your laws allow Baby, baby, baby ‘Actually, Mac reminds me of… Nah, couldn’t be!… Could it?’ When you touch me like this And when you hold me like that It was gone with the wind But it’s all coming back to me When you see me like this And when I see you like that Then we see what we want to see All coming back to me The flesh and the fantasies All coming back to me I can barely recall But it’s all coming back to me now “Mac? Why is this your favorite song?” Mac smiled at Harm, glad that he asked during the break in the song. “It reminds me of a love and mistake, both lost to time.” Mac continued singing with the song as Harm pondered her sudden poetic turn. If you forgive me all this If I forgive you all that We forgive and forget And it’s all coming back to me When you see me like this And I see you like that We see what we want to see All coming back to me I can barely recall but it’s all coming back to me now ‘Yeah, Mac is a lot like B, now that I think of it. Could she…?’ (It’s all coming back to me now) And when you kiss me like this (It’s all coming back to me now) And what I touch you like that (It’s all coming back to me now) If you do it like this (It’s all coming back to me now) And if we… As the song ended, Harm was suddenly prodded into action by an unknown force. He muttered, “Please don’t castrate me right away,” and shoved Mac down on her back on the bed, pulling her sweater up. “Harm! What the *fuck* do you think you’re doing?!” Mac yelled as Harm ripped her bra off. Despite her indignation, Mac was actually quite turned on by what was happening. Harm’s eyes widened as he saw the tattoo around Mac’s left nipple. As he traced the tattoo with his finger, bringing the nipple to a hard point, he looked up into Mac’s eyes. “Bandit?” he whispered. Mac’s eyes widened and her breathing hitched. “PC?” she asked. Recognition dawned and suddenly the two were a whirlwind of motion, clothes were pulled off and skin was stroked; they quickly brought each other to the point of insanity, then Harm plunged into her body in one smooth stroke. Their eyes met as he rested there for a moment, giving Mac time to adjust to his size. “God, Harm, I love you so much! I loved you as PC and I fell in love with you as Harm. I was so sorry for what I did, and I wanted to stay anyway, but I didn’t want you mad at me,” Mac whimpered. “I love *you*, Sarah, my Bandit. I wanted you to still be there, so that I could say that I was sorry for what I said.” Mac placed her finger over Harm’s lips. “No regrets,” she whispered, then kissed him softly and nudged her hips against his. Harm slowly withdrew and thrust back and Mac wrapped her legs around Harm’s waist, urging him on. Their lovemaking was slow and gentle, passionate and loving. Their mutual climax neared and they both tensed as the wave of release washed over them, and they called out each other’s names. They kissed softly as they slowly drifted back to reality. “I love you so much, Harm,” Mac murmured, her sated passion making her voice softer and more sedate. “And I love you, Sarah. I have for so long. When we met in the Rose Garden, at first I thought you were Diane, I didn’t even think about you being Bandit. I should have, Diane always reminded me of you.” Mac snuggled close to Harm. “It doesn’t matter anymore, PC. It’s just you and me. Harm and Sarah.” With that, the two reunited lovers fell into a light slumber. **Epilogue** “That’s an odd song to play at a wedding,” Harriet observed to her boyfriend, Bud. Bud shrugged. “Commander Rabb said that it had something to do with their past.” “I didn’t even know they *had* a past! I thought they just met at the White House. Do you know anything about their past?” Bud sighed. “Harriet, it’s none of our business! Besides, they’re our superiors! We could get in trouble for talking about them like this!” “Oh, Bud! Major MacKenzie isn’t our superior. She’s at the Pentagon now, remember?” Bud sighed again. “Yeah, I know, but she’s still a superior officer.” “Yeah.” Carolyn Imes came up to the two young officers. “Weird song for the bride and groom’s first dance, huh?” “We were just talking about that!” Harriet exclaimed. “Do you know why they picked it?” Carolyn shook her head. “Nope, sorry. But I kinda like it. Celine Dion is a really good singer, and despite how sad it is, I’ve always liked ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me Now’.” The song ended, but Harm and Mac stayed on the dance floor and the three other officers kept watching them. Mac looked up at Harm. “I love you, PC.” Harm smiled and looked down at Mac. “And I love you, Bandit. And we own our wedding all to Celine Dion and this song!” Mac smiled. “I hope that some day we might be able to tell her that.” Harm chuckled. “As long as it can wait until after the honeymoon, I don’t care what we do!” Mac just rolled her eyes and lay her head back down on Harm’s chest.
